Padel continues its expansion around the world and this time we are staying at home, in France, but a few thousand kilometers from the mainland!
Indeed it is on the side of the Indian Ocean and more particularly in Reunion that a new project is being established.
As popular as ever, this sport is strengthening its global presence in new territories and thus making it possible to meet the growing demand from locals.
An ambitious and green project
Next October, a new sports complex dedicated solely to padel will open in the city of Saint Louis, at the Etang du Gol.
At the head of this project called “ Endémik sport and nature club “, Lucas Landais, tennis teacher and padel enthusiast for several years.

The future padel club will be located on an area of more than 3000m², in a wooded setting, pleasant and conducive to relaxation.
The business manager, concerned about his environment, made a point of not distorting this natural space and this is what attracted the municipality which consequently issued him a provision agreement.
This great project consists of three padel courts and three bungalows that will serve as changing rooms, snack bar and reception.
Padel but not only…
As the name suggests, in “ Endémik sport and nature club “, There is the word nature.
And in this project it takes on all its meaning because Lucas Landais wants to respect his future working environment.
So to expand its offer, it will offer electric scooters so that Reunionese who wish to walk along this pond in the south of the island can do so in a fun and environmentally friendly way.
