A brand new exciting project that has emerged in Portugal has brought together Paquito Navarro and footballer Diogo Dalot as ambassadors of the CAP (Club Atlético Padel).

This new installation, which was officially inaugurated this Tuesday, May 9 in the city of Porto (city in which the PAC is located), brought together no less than 300 guests, including prestigious personalities such as Rui Moreira, the mayor of Porto.

For this project, Paquito Navarro, one of the best world players of padel and Diogo Dalot, a Portuguese international who currently plays for Manchester United, joined forces to create and then officially present the PAC.

A presentation match to better present this sport also took place during the event.

Diogo Rocha, Antonio Luque, João Caiano and Pedro Perry gave a demonstration to all those present, under the watchful eye of Paquito.

Exceptional conditions

Through this new concept of padel, Padel Athletic Club, which includes a 1 square meter sports hall, a room specially reserved for various events, a shop 500% dedicated to padel, a heating zone, a physiotherapy area and a lounge bar asserts itself as a club of padel innovative and unique in Portugal.

Built in the interests of better management and practice of sport, the PAC is located in a privileged area of ​​the city of Porto. It also includes 14 high quality tracks, all outdoor, including 2 Premium (Campo Paquito and Campo Dalot). The club also has many characteristics, all analogous to the best tracks of the professional circuits of padel.

To complete this project, the spaces have been built to create the ideal environment for all lovers of this sport. A zone of open spaces, materials and colors have therefore been thought out and chosen in detail. Also, the project and the equipment selected have been developed with the aim of achieving reduced water and electricity consumption, with the installation of photovoltaic panels also being planned, all under the direction of Valdemar Coutinho.

Promote the padel in Portugal

In order to support and develop sport in Portugal, the PAC has also created an academy, entirely devoted to the training of players, such as the youngest, who wish to learn more and improve their skills. padel.

This academy consists of a high performance center directed by Diogo Rocha, national number one of padel For years. The coaching staff also includes other big names in the padel Portuguese such as Ivo Rodrigues, Frederico Augusto, Ricardo Mariano, João Magalhães or Tomás Gomes.

During the event, Diogo Dalot expressed his great satisfaction with the successful inauguration of one of his most promising and important investments:
