Humorous sequence with Paquito Navarro and Juan Martin Diaz exchanging messages on Instagram.
Following the defeat against Di Nenno/Stupa, Paquito Navarro went with his traditional post-tournament post, which almost all players publish once eliminated.
As a tribute to the pair who dominated him and his partner Chingotto, the Andalusian said there were three or four teams who were above the rest this season. To which Juan Martin Diaz responded, in a humorous tone, “Am I one of these 3 or 4 pairs?” As the good showman that he is, Paquito replied “Yes, from your residence”! A remark that did not fail to make all the fans laugh.
Obviously, these messages should be taken at face value: Juan Martin Diaz is perfectly aware that, at almost 48 years old, he is no longer capable of competing with the very best. He goes elsewhere retire at the end of the season. For his part, Paquito, who has already shared the track with JMD, does not miss an opportunity to tease the man who is both his friend and his youth idol.
A good-natured atmosphere which clearly shows that padel is a sport apart!
