Along with the election of the new President of the FIP, Luigi Carraro, the general assembly approved the integration into the FIP of Senegal, Thailand, Hungary, and more surprisingly Iran when there were many federations initially opposed to this integration of IRAN into the FIP as long as the country does not “rdid not know the right of women"Among other things.

This integration could raise problems in the long term, especially for any girls' teams, and perhaps even religious questions. Has FIP planned all this upstream? Has it adapted its coming into the bosom of the FIP under conditions? One can only assume that FIP knows what it is doing.

The other problem is the political and international news of Iran which will be found from today (November 5) with new economic sanctions and an even harsher embargo from the United States and of its allies (or sometimes imposed by the United States on countries that want to continue economic relations with Iran).

Companies stop working with Iran in some way or indirectly. What consequences on FIP? The padel  ? Any partnerships or future sponsorship?

Are the current nations, members of FIP, solicited? Did they agree? Not easy.

Because of course we are always delighted to see more and more countries joining the family of padel. But there, isn't this a risk of disorganization for the FIP and the padel in general who are looking for economic partnerships, isn't it a risk of creating future friction between the members of the FIP and perhaps even between certain players during international events?
