Three French people were on track this morning in Alicante, as part of the first round of the preprevia du World Padel Tour Alicante Open.

Bergeron / Gil in diesel mode

For their entry into the running this morning, Johan Bergeron and Victor Mena Gil put a set to get into the match, losing 6/4 in the first set to Daniel Bressel and Cardona Huerta. Vexed, the Franco-Spanish pair let go of the horses, leaving no play to their opponents.

A 4/6 6/0 6/0 victory which launches Johan and Victor perfectly into the competition. They replay at 15h face Federico Mouriño (318 WPT) and Boris Castro García (146 WPT), who won their match in straight sets this morning.

The Panse / Medina fall on stronger

As we had said, Loîc le Panse and Raul Medina Lopez had really not been lucky in the draw, inheriting a very solid pair from the first round of the preprevia: Alvaro Melendez Amaya / José Luis González Rodríguez. The Franco-Spanish pair managed to take 3 games in the first set, before breaking down in the second. Final score: 3 / 6 0 / 6.

4 French on the slopes this afternoon

(Good) after the match between Johan Bergeron and Victor Mena Gil, at 18:30 p.m., Benjamin Tison and Jeremy Scatena, which remain on a very nice course at the Fip Star in Elche, will make their debut in this tournament. The number 7 seed in the preprevia table will face the winner of the opposing match: Alfonso Viuda Hernandez (140) and Jairo Jose Bautista Ortiz (202) to Alonso Rodríguez Martinez (607) and Enrique Goenaga Garcia (180).
