The Sarah Vande Berg Tennis & Wellness Center is a world-class sports and wellness center located in the heart of Zephyrhills. Created through a private / public partnership between the Town of Zephyrhills and Pascal Collard, the SVB Tennis and Wellness Center is truly a unique addition to the Tampa Bay area. It has plenty of options for professional athletes, casual gamers, or anyone looking to create a healthier lifestyle. It includes eleven tennis courts, eight pickleball courts, four tennis courts, padel, cryotherapy, halo therapy room, sports advice, fitness center and restaurant.

The coach of padel will be responsible for the organization and management of all the programming of the padel for members and guests.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

  • Have an affinity for building relationships
  • Be responsive, organized and have effective listening and communication skills
  • Possess a strong desire to deliver an optimal customer service experience on and off the field
  • Have the desire to be part of a family oriented team

The ideal candidate will:

  • Organize daily clinics (at least 5 days a week) for all levels of play.
  • Evaluate new players in the appropriate group.
  • Provide private lessons on request while accommodating clients' schedules.
  • Be available on weekends.
  • Build relationships with members and guests by playing, creating social events and hosting monthly events outside of competition.
  • Host one tournament per month, including one USPA sanctioned tournament per quarter.
  • Communicate on special events and tournament opportunities to SVB members / guests for all events of padel.
  • Recruit junior players from padel to train and progress together on and off the pitch.
  • Build new pay-per-view programs to meet needs within the club's lineup.

Skills and experience required:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a coach of padel
  • Ability to plan courses and programs, including attendance management and payment reconciliation in a new software system.
  • 5 years and more in the management:

Remuneration:

  • Depending on experience.
