The former English professional tennis player, Tim Henman, is a joker on the Eurosport channels when he talks about Rafa Nadal and his decade of domination on the ocher soil of Roland-Garros.

No player has dominated an event for as long and as overwhelmingly as the “King of Clay” at Roland Garros.

To illustrate his remarks, as Nadal's return approached, Henman expressed himself with humor: “I think that as soon as that you associate Rafa Nadal and Roland-Garros in the same sentence, Rafa is automatically the favorite. Even if he played padel, we would tell you that at Roland-Garros, Rafa is the favorite.”

This statement may seem slightly comical, but it is based on decades of Nadal's unrivaled dominance on Parisian clay.

Nadal's history at Roland Garros and his exceptional track record on clay make him a clear favorite in tennis, but also, in the eyes of fans, in other sports where he might not be as competent, such as padel. Henman's humor is obvious, in fact, not sure that Nadal can excel on the tennis courts. padel at Roland-Garros as he does so well in tennis.

Remember that the third edition of the Paris Major will be held from September 28 to October 6, just after the Olympic Games. Moreover, Nadal should be present to try to obtain a gold medal in tennis at Roland Garros.
