After their remarkable performance in Milan last year, Víctor Ruiz and Lucas Bergamini now aim to conquer Rome. The Spanish-Brazilian duo, 11ᵉ pair in the FIP ranking, got off to a good start at the BNL Italia Major Premier Padel. We obviously remember the Spaniard and the Brazilian had shone during the final of the P1 Premier which was held last December in the enclosure of the Allianz Cloud.

However, the start of the competition was not easy for Víctor and Lucas. On one of the two tracks installed inside the Nicola Pietrangeli stadium, they had to fight to overcome the Spaniards Ignacio Vilariño and Salva Oria: 7-6 (12/10) 6-4.

Bergamini, who has already played in Rome under the colors of the club Circolo Canottieri Aniene, located a few hundred meters from Foro Itálico, was happy to win in Rome for his first match: “Italy is like a third home for Me. I am Brazilian, I live in Spain, but I often play in Italy. I hope we can repeat Milan's performance, which remains an unforgettable memory.”
