Jérémy Scatena and Johan Bergeron return to the microphone of Lorenzo Lecci Lopez on their victory in their first match in Qatar. Final score: 6/4 6/4 against Lindmeyer / Wunnern.

A first step so easy in special conditions

Jérémy Scatena : “We have to be more patient in attack, we try to gain the point too quickly, especially in the second set, that's why we broke. We have to get into the rally, rather than trying to get the point quickly. ”

“At 2:3 am it is such playing conditions, at 45:XNUMX am it is not the same thing. There is more humidity, it is dark earlier so here we have to adapt! “

An exceptional environment

Johan Bergeron : “These are dream conditions. We never did a tournament in this environment. The first day we arrived, the whole team took out their phones to film the central which is magnificent. We are here to enjoy it, this is the first time that we have such conditions for us. It's up to us to take advantage of it, we know what we're aiming for and we want to go as far as possible! ”

Jérémy Scatena:  " The padel is exploding, sport is not far from being Olympic. Today we are doing a tournament in the conditions of a Master 1000 of tennis or an ATP 500, I don't know (laughs) […], but these are dream conditions, I am 36 years old, time passes quickly so I try to take advantage of every moment! “

Passionate about football, I discovered the padel in 2019. Since then, it's been crazy love with this sport to the point of abandoning my favorite sport.
