We can say it, it’s official, the 2024 season is well and truly launched. After the start of the FIP tournaments in Australia, it is the turn of Premier Padel to start. It's time to take a look on the FIP calendar, which has more events in France than ever!

FIP Rise category

France should welcome three FIP Rise this season :

The first would be 23 au 28 juillet, in the Var, near Toulon. According to the little information we have on this tournament, it would be played at TC Toulonnais, a club with 10 outdoor tracks ! Conditions 100% exterior in the middle of July which announces many winning shots and a very sunny tournament.

The second deadline would be held a month later, also in the Var, but on the side of Bandol this time. The tournament would take place from 20 at August 25 with a final table which would be played on the port. The playing conditions would probably resemble those of Toulon, with perhaps a little more wind, so close to the sea! Latest date for the FIP Rise: from 4 to 8 September, further north this time, on the side of Caen ! No conditions outdoor in Calvados since the tournament should be played in a small sports center.

All these tournaments have yet to be confirmed but are already present on the program of the International Federation of Padel !

FIP Gold Category

While we thought Spain priority on FIP Gold, 4 tournaments will be played in other countries! Two are planned for Mexico and two for France. Of course, it is possible that other dates will be added.

What we know, for the moment, is that there will be two FIP Gold in France. The first would be held in September, from 17 to 22. The chosen city… Bordeaux ! The Pearl of Aquitaine, which also hosts a Premier Padel P2, will therefore be land of padel in 2024 with two international tournaments during the year.

Direction Lyon for the second FIP Gold which will take place in France. The tournament would be held from 8 13 in October.

For now, the tournaments are still to be confirmed, like the FIP Rise… We should know, at the same time, the place where the final draw will be played!

Premier Padel

Of course, we have to talk about Premier Padel, main circuit in 2024, with its two tournaments in France.

The first will take place at Bordeaux , in category P2. Of 10 at 16 June, the best players in the world will come to compete in Gironde. Tickets for the event are already on sale and they leave quickly ! If you don't have your tickets yet, go to the official ticket office of the event.

The second tournament, and not the least, will be the long-awaited Greenweez Paris Major, September 30 to October 6. Third edition in the capital of this competition which enjoys great success every year. Remember that for two weeks, the ticket office is open to the general public… Don’t forget to get your tickets for this major event!

The Cupra Finals in France?

If you are good at algebra, you may have noticed that only 5 tournaments in France (except Premier Padel) have been announced. 3 FIP Rise, 2 FIP Gold… a date is still missing.

Indeed, the “Master Final of the FIP Tour” could be played here, in a city that already hosted a tournament last season, at the end of the year.

Some may have guessed... it would be Bourg-en-Bresse ! Hélène Cédileau, vice-president of the Department of Ain in charge of sport and the mayor of Bourg-en-Bresse, and Jean-François Debat had already confirmed to us that there would be a FIP in the city this season…

Consequently, even if nothing is official yet, everything suggests that Bourg-en-Bresse will be the scene of a huge competition at the end of the year... To be continued.

Gwenaelle Souyri

It was his brother who one day told him to accompany him on a track. padel, since then, Gwenaëlle has never left the court. Except when it comes to going to watch the broadcast of Padel Magazine, World Padel Tour… or Premier Padel…or the French Championships. In short, she is a fan of this sport.
