We told you about it some time ago and it's now official: a team of organizers, led by tennis player Stan Wawrinka, is launching the first international tournament of padel in Swizterland.

At the beginning of the year, the player had acquired the rights of ownership of one of the tournaments of the A1 circuit Padel. We now know the exact place and date of the competition: it will be in Verbier, from August 15 to 20.

“We want to register for the long term in Verbier”, declared the tennis player to the newspaper The Nouvellist.

The objective is to make Verbier the new international stage for padel in Swiss. The competition, which will be endowed with a Prize Money of €110, will welcome the best players on the circuit, and therefore promises a good dose of spectacle for the Swiss public!
