Barely out, already tested! The new snowshoes Head Extreme, which everyone has been talking about for two days, switch to Penso developer.

The palas of the numbers 1

Used by the current number 1 in the standings of the World Padel Tour, Paula Josemaria and Arturo Coello, the news Head Extreme Pro and Extreme Motion were designed for top-level performance. They are part of the brand new Extreme series, which takes over from the famous Delta which were the brand's most powerful references.

The only distinction between them, apart from the aesthetic aspect which we will discuss in more detail, is the reduced weight of the Motion, which makes 10 grams compared to its big brother.

In terms of looks, it's a total success: the Extreme Pro racquet adopts a shade of lichen green slightly influenced by gray and pale tones. This palette pairs elegantly with the sophistication of a granite gray, which is accented by a striking logo in chartreuse yellow.

On the other hand, the Extreme Motion mainly sports the lichen green hue, complemented by subtle bright chartreuse yellow accents. This combination breathes electric energy and dynamic modernity into these two exceptional models.

The Hydrosorb Pro grips blend harmoniously with the color of the frame, which is a unique feature given that most grips are predominantly black. The handle size is standard, and a simple wrist strap is always present to guarantee security.

Palas cut out for the attack

On the court, these two diamond-shaped racquets are designed for decisive strikes. They have a well-marked head balance, offering a truly captivating experience as soon as speed is sought.

The Motion, despite its increased lightness, is no exception, and it is an extremely powerful racquet that I had the chance to try. Surprisingly, and with equal technologies, I felt a less rigid rubber on the Motion. Perhaps the 10 gram reduction influences this perception, but this is an aspect that I have particularly focused on and I can definitely confirm this observation.

The Power Foam rubber proves to be extremely effective in intense game situations, but it is crucial to dose precisely the viboras and other slammed volleys, under penalty of immediate sanctions. The reserve power capacity is genuinely impressive, and players looking for that little extra edge to wrap up points with energy will certainly be well served by this beneficial boost.

These two racquets demonstrate great stability when you are attacked at the net and confronted with powerful bajadas of your opponents.

In defensive situations, these palas do not reveal their best asset, since their ability to generate a consistent ball output is limited by a certain rigidity, which impacts the adequate restitution of the trampoline effect.

However, the Motion fares better than the Pro thanks to a slightly more favorable balance.

There's no denying that the Extreme Pro targets experienced players who already have a solid technical grasp, which is why I personally opted for the Motion. The latter is lighter and more manageable, while offering exceptional power.

As far as vibrations are concerned, there is nothing abnormal to note. They are quite acceptable thanks to the Soft Butt Cap and those who experience elbow pain will not be bothered by these models.

Conclusion

Undoubtedly, theextreme pro has a personality that will absolutely have to be tamed, because its maneuverability is not its strong point. This shortcoming will be perceived mainly in a defensive situation and during off-center shots, due to a reduced sweet-spot located at the top of the head, and a weight centered on the head of the racquet.

La Motion has other advantages due to its reduced weight. First of all, its aesthetics dazzle me thanks to this combination of colors which gives it a remarkable look. Then, its maneuverability is increased tenfold, thus eliminating any struggle with the racquet and generating an even greater feeling of confidence. Although a little less powerful than its Pro counterpart, it appealed to me and will probably suit a wide range of players.

However, if you're going for this product line, it's because you're basically willing to compromise handling in favor of an aggressive, hard-hitting approach.

A big thank you to Head France as well as to Evan for sending me these two palas which will seduce more than one.

Reminder of the technologies used

Anti Shock Skin : this unique polymeric material has enabled HEAD to create protection against shocks to best preserve your racket. Placed on the head of the frame, this special layer guarantees better durability of your racket and also allows it to resist friction.

PowerFoam: the ideal ally for maximum power. A little stiffer than the classic Foam rubber, it provides more explosiveness and precision.

Optimized Sweet Spot : each racket has its own peculiarities; some are characterized by the control and precision they offer, others by their power or their spin. That is why Head has developed the Optimized Sweet Spot ideal sweet spot, to provide each model with a precise sweet spot.

Extreme Spin : this rough circular surface increases the effect.

Smart bridge : each racket has its own DNA. Some will offer control and precision, others power or comfort. That is why Head created the Smart Bridge, in order to adapt the bridge area to the needs of each racquet.

Tailored Frame : Each tube section is individually constructed to achieve the best performance for each racket.

Graphene Inside : Strategically placed in most of the brand's racquets, graphene reinforces the frame, provides greater stability and optimizes the transfer of energy from the racquet to the ball.

Auxetic : new construction, implemented on the bridge of the racquet, which offers a better sensation at impact even when the ball does not hit the sweet-spot perfectly. With the new Auxetic technology, players will get more sensitivity and confidence in the game. "pull" force is applied and contract when compressed. The greater the force applied, the greater the auxetic reaction).

Soft Buttcap : it is an innovative element incorporated into rackets, designed to improve the comfort and playing experience of players. This is a soft, ergonomic material tip that attaches to the end of the racquet handle.
