Le padel is becoming international and the number of tournaments has continued to increase in recent years. The end of the struggle between World Padel Tour and Premier Padel did not preventemergence of new initiatives.

1 – Hexagon Cup

At the top of the ranking, we find theHexagon Cup. If the Hexagon only has one stage, it has distributed no less thanone million euros in prize money for its first edition!

In total, 36 players participated in this competition present in Top 20 worldwide and Next Gen participated in the competition. 24 men et 12 women took part in this new competition.

The only disadvantage: there is only one tournament in the Hexagon Cup. However, given the success of the first edition, we can only hope that the competition will take more breadth next season!

2 - Premier Padel

Le Premier Padel is the most lucrative circuit in 2024. This season, we already know that the Riyadh Open will have a prize money de 470.000 €. On the other hand, we learn that the envelope should not be equitably distributed between men and women.

On the Major, prize money is even higher than in the Open. If we start on the same basis as last season, the budget planned for a Major should be 525.000€. The first Major of the year will take place from 1 at 8 March. Even if the prize money of these competitions is not yet known for 2024, we imagine that the Major of Premier Padel will once again be the reference this year for tournaments padel of the regular season.

That being said, the Premier Padel remains the circuit numéro 1 for the players as well.

3 – Ultimate Padel Tour

On the third step of the ranking, we find the brand new circuit, based in Spain, the Ultimate Padel Round. Recently we experienced player winnings at each tournament on the circuit. In total, for a UPT tournament, an envelope of 240.000 € is planned. It is also fairly distributed between male and female categories.

In addition to this, an end-of-season bonus is intended for the highest ranked players at the end of the season. The 10 best young people – outside the top 20 – will also be entitled to a bonus. Even if it will be less important than that of senior players, it is not negligible for young prospects.

Honorable Mention – A1 Padel and Reserve Cup

Two other competitions deserve attention. The A1 Padel, the famous circuit of Fabrice Pastor, as well as the Reserve Cup and its “prize money record” also have a nice envelope planned at the end of the tournament for the players.

In the case of the A1 Padel, 130.000 € reward for an open, 176.000 € on a Major, the sums remain extremely interesting for the players present on the circuit.

For the Reserve Cup, 175.000 € were won by the victorious team, against 75.000 € for the loser. A nice figure distributed between only seven players. You should also know that the more matches the player has played and won, the higher their winnings at the end of the tournament!

Note that these two tournaments are not in the top 3 because they only concern players of padel professionals male. No women were present during the Reserve Cup. Same observation for the A1 circuit, from which women are currently absent (although they were present for a time).
