Train at padel is primordial to acquire from new tactics, improve its technical and increase his physical abilities. Know put in situation is the last step before moving on to match.

Practice. That's the word. Go through training to become better and above all, play the way that suits us the most, understand the game and be able to modify certain moves to disturb the opponents. So training is very good because we learn a lot of things there, but if during matches nothing works, it's because the scenarios weren't done well.

We play like we train

Remember this sentence. This means that if you don't give the maximum in training, during the match you will play the same way, and if the rhythm increases, you will overplay.

An example would be dancers. Imagine a dance troupe that does its rehearsals by simply marking its movements so as not to get tired. On the day of the show, the show may be correct, but not perfect because the movements will not be synchronized.

So the first step, for players who have already acquired the technique, would be to train with the same intensity as the one you want to put in a match.

For those who are progressing

Here it's slightly different because if you work under match conditions, it will take you a lot longer to assimilate a new move, a new tactic. The idea is therefore to start slowly to “feel” things, to adapt them to oneself, to internalize them, then to put them in place in slow match conditions. The pace will gradually increase and you will have to adapt to the situation. Once you feel comfortable, it's time to increase the speed.

The advantages and disadvantages of shopping cart

Training at the basket, with a person throwing the balls to you, is a very positive thing but it can also serve you poorly.

Positive in the sense that repetition will allow you to work on shots to reassure you and improve your technique.

Negative in the sense that if you only make the basket, without variations of heights, speeds, effects, you will be comfortable in training because the ball always arrives in the right place, but badly ease during matches because out of ten balls played in the same position, only one will look exactly like the one in practice. Stress, score, your physical condition at a given time, ball height, speed, your movements, you will understand, many factors influence the game.

So that's why it's really interesting in training to put yourself in a game situation. The older ones say it: spend more time playing than training to obtain perfect technique.

We leave you with some practical videos that will allow you to understand this work of technique, setting up shots at slow speed, then the rhythm in real conditions, with or without a basket. Let's go!
