The young hope of padel French, Thomas Leygue, produced at the Padelpro Cup, a very good course with his partner Carlos Cano. Thomas, who intends to conquer Spain, talks about his departure and his ambitions on the peninsula.

Next step: Spain.

I'm going on an adventure to Spain in a week. I'm going to train with Gaby Reca, one of the greatest coaches of padel in the world. We will try to erase all the imperfections in my game. But that's exactly what we're going for!

Le padel, but not only…

I will try to mix the padel with the studies. I'm going to train a lot padel, I will also try to make tournaments and why not even stages of the World Padel Tour. But there will also be studies at the university.

The days will be long but necessarily, I am very motivated and ready for this beautiful adventure.

How long do you leave?

So, good question! I do not know for now. I would like to go to Spain and stay there ... Stay there all your life!

After a lot of things will depend on the results on the spot, and certainly the vagaries of Spanish life. But I will do everything to make the most of it and take advantage of the chance given to me.

France, it's over?

No, France, I am not forgetting that. (To laugh). After that, I will live in Madrid. Suddenly, like many French players who try the adventure in Spain, I will be rarer on the French circuit. But I will nevertheless try to make small jumps to at least make the biggest French demonstrations of padel.
