The lob is used a lot from the back of the field to force our opponents to return to the bottom of the track or in a defense situation. Why do not we use it as a volley? Here's how to use this shot that can, with practice, allow you to improve your offensive game.

The volley lob can be used from the back of the court. This is where it is most effective. Our opponents at the net, we are in a defensive position. In order to change the course of the game, one of the solutions would be to use the volley lob after a ball coming out of the window or played directly slowly in the feet of the players on the fly. Following a difficult volley below the level of the net, you will be able to pass in front of the baseline, put pressure on your opponents, achieve the volley lob and finally come to the net on your turn.

When you are at the net, you can also make a flying lob. The worry is that you will not make this shot to attack, but rather to get out of an embarrassing situation, your opponents being very close to the net. We will not use a volleyball lob when we can play attacking volleyes. This shot will make more sense under the net.

Warning: The volley lob when you are at the net requires a little more control than the lob from the back court. At net, a poorly adjusted volley lob, and that's the smatch or a bandeja winning for your opponents.
