Le FIP Promotion Albania Open starts tomorrow. Three French people have gone to Albania to try their luck and hope to come back with points and maybe even “bring the cup home”.

At the beginning of the year, Manuel Vives and Dylan Guichard went to Lithuania, to Kaunas, for a FIP Promotion, the very first category of the FIP Tour. They came back with the title.

In Albania, with 29 pairs in contention, it will be a “small” table, one might think. Except that our French have inherited a cruel draw.

We find Manuel Vives associated with the Spaniard Albert Carmona, seeded 9. Bad luck, since the Franco-Spanish pair will meet in their second round the seeded 1 of the tournament, the Italians Simone Cremona and Marco Cassetta. A big game in perspective.

On the other hand, we thought that for the seeded 4 in the table, the road would be more open with a first lap off. Well no ! Bastien Blanqué and Julien Seurin potentially inherit from their entry into the running, in 8th, the semi-finalists of the FIP Rise of Bordeaux, the Portuguese Miguel and Nuno Deus. The Deus brothers are only seeded 17 in the table. The French will have to make a superb match to continue the adventure.
