It can be said that UrbanPadel is pulling out all the stops to assert its position as co-leader in the padel In France. In fact, the group which could be bought soon, has a very busy schedule in 2024. Around fifty tracks will see the light of day, all over France, by September 2024 !

As a reminder, UrbanPadel it is 9 centers of padel in France with, in total, 49 lands. The latest openings are those in Clermont-Ferrand, Dijon, and Brignais. Far from wanting to stop there, the group has launched a new major phase of work, in several cities in France.

NEW ARRIVALS

On the agenda, the development of the activity padel on existing sites… but also the opening of several new centers! A quick overview of the new features planned for 2024:

  • Bondues, near Lille, will have the right to a brand new complex by the end of March, beginning of April. The center will have 4 tracks indoor (to escape the gray sky of northern France!).
  • Direction Dardilly, not far from Lyon, where a new club of 6 tracks indoor should see the light of day by mid-April.
  • Further south, at Villeneuve-Loubet, a few kilometers from Nice, a new complex will open in May. THE padelists will be able to benefit from 4 tracks indoor, as well as 2 tracks outdoor, to enjoy the southern sun!
  • We already told you about it, UrbanPadel will lay its tracks on the island of Puteaux, after struggling to obtain the location. But that's it, the 15 tracks of padel indoor will arrive during the summer of 2024!
  • A little further north, direction Cap-Malo, on the outskirts of Rennes, with the opening of a new center 6 tracks indoor. We will have to wait a little longer since the opening is planned for July 2024.
  • To finish with the new clubs, it's up to Marne Valley that UrbanPadel will be established. Here again, the group plans to pose 6 covered tracks. You will have to wait until the start of the sports year, in September, to be able to take advantage of this new center.

Additions

In addition to these new complexes, Urban Padel decided to add new tracks in two of its already existing structures.

  • À Vern-sur-Seiche, again not far from Rennes, a track of padel indoor will be added to the 4 already existing lots. It should be open by May.
  • Also at Castelnau-le-Lez, in the outskirts of Montpellier, where 2 tracks indoor will be added to the club which already has 4 indoor courts. Here again, the work is scheduled to be completed during the month of May.

The dynamics of the centers

The activity of the centers is also increasingly dense with the reception of several important tests at the start of the year: P2000 / P1000, regional championships. But also the inauguration of Clermont-Ferrand with the presence of French and Spanish champions as well as the launch of intensive courses during school holidays which complement the existing course offering.

An emulation that appealed two new partners who support the development and operation of the centers: Betsson and Andros.

Clearly, the Urban Group claims, with this development plan, his desire to go further and faster in the world of padel.
