Yesterday, if there were a few small surprises, the favorites were generally assured on Galician lands. Rather rare, only one match over the whole day was played in three sets, that opposing Piñeiro / Barahona to Semmler / Leal. As a reminder, the scores of the day:

The match of the day is obviously the one between Lima / Tapia and Ruiz / Stupa. It is a remix of one of the most beautiful matches of the start of the season and we still expect a great show.

Of course we will also have our eyes riveted on the sensation Loyal - semmler, who will not have it easy when faced with a Paquito Navarro and Martin Di Nenno who showed a different face than in the first two tournaments.

The results of 1/8 in the ladies

On the women's side, the biggest surprise came to us during the meeting of the third round of the morning which opposed the numbers 2 Ariana Sanchez - Paula Josemaria à Aranzazu Osoro et Victoria Iglesias.

Indeed the latter were able to find the fault during a match in 2 set ending 6-3 / 6-4. An excellent operation for this promising pair who are accumulating victories and showing that they will have to be counted on this season. In the other meetings, the favorites left no room for doubt, as you can see in the results below:

For girls, quarters are extremely attractive. The favorites Salazar and Triay will have to deal with the twins, one of the best pairs in the history of the padel feminine. The other favorites Gonzalez and Sainz will have to get rid of the very solid and eye-catching Llaguno / Riera pair.

Marrero and Ortega will try to find their way back to the semi-finals against one of the pairs in form at the start of the season. Finally, the ambitious Osoro and Iglesias will want to get a place in the semi-finals, for that they will have to release a pair which had a little trouble at the start of the season but which seems to be well under way: Amatriain / Araujo!
