This is not a lack of respect, but a simple fact: in Acapulco, Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia spent less than three hours on the track, in three matches. Today, in the semi-final, the Spanish-Argentinian pair will meet Sanyo Gutiérrez and Paquito Navarro, whom they had already met in the last four in Doha. A match which ended in a 6/4 6/0… in 43 minutes only. During this tournament in Qatar, none of their matches lasted more than an hour...

In a few days, we will attend real musical chairs between the best pairs in the world. Already a few pairs have announced their separation, the latest being that of Fernando Belasteguin and Lucho Capra. The only ones who should not be impacted at the top of the rankings will be Di Nenno/Stupaczuk and Coello/Tapia. Franco Stupaczuk and Martin Di Nenno who have yet to reach a final this season.

So, in the end, in front, there are not many people left to challenge the Coello/Tapia mountain. Even if the teams announced for the next tournaments sell dreams (Chingotto/Galan, Navarro/Lebron, Tello/Belasteguin), nothing says that they can perform well from the first tournaments.
