Le World Padel Tour 2021 might not look like previous editions. On the menu we could have streaming from the preprevias and even maybe several television broadcasts in different countries starting from the quarter-finals.

If we are to believe behind the scenes of the professional circuit, players could see some of their requests accepted by the WPT. A very good thing for the fans too who will be able to drink from padel much faster.

It will also be increased visibility for medically underexposed players. We would discover wonderful styles of play. And above all, we would realize the incredible level of all the players who make up the WPT. Indeed, for both ladies and gentlemen, the level is often very good from the preprevias. It even happens to find former players who were present in the main draw a few years ago.

The competition is very tough there, mainly among the men, where you have to pass up to six laps, for the one who starts in the 1st round of the pre-qualifying, and hope to reach the main draw. It is to say the complexity of the thing….

Precisely, in the WPT files, even if for the moment we have not succeeded in obtaining any additional information from the circuit, it is possible that the counting of points and the terms of the current classification will be completely revised and come closer to what we see in tennis (ATP).

For the moment, these are persistent rumors, without any confirmation from the World Padel Tour, this information should therefore be taken with a grain of salt at this stage.

Here is a small collection of photos taken by the WPT in 2020 to keep us waiting until next April.
