The final draw of the WPT México Open has begun. Few matches were played on Tuesday, but one of them was a surprise in the women's draw.

The seeded 5, Victoria Iglesias and Aranzazu Osoro, was surprised as soon as they entered the running by a pair from the previas, Noa Canovas and Marina Guinart (6/4 2/6 6/3).

The latter will be opposed in the 1/8th finals to Sofia Saiz and Beatriz Caldera, who lost in three sets to Carolina Orsini and Ksenia Sharifova (2/6 7/5 6/3).

Still among the ladies, Teresa Navarro and Nuria Rodriguez suffered the law of Claudia Fernandez and Julietta Bidahorria, after 2:51 of the match (7/6 6/7 7/5).

On the men's side, Pincho Fernandez and José Diestro struggled to get rid of Sergio Alba and Denis Perino (3/6 6/1 7/5). For their part, Miguel Lamperti and Mike Yanguas beat Muñoz and Vilariño by 6/4 7/6.

The day was also marked by the package of the seeded 3, Belasteguin / Coello.
