For those who didn´t have the chance to watch the WPT Vigo 2019 semi-finals, check out these videos because they are worth the effort. Examples of struggle, relentlessness, pain and playing tactics. Young players of padel, watch and learn the school of padel, the school of life.

First semifinal woman

Patty Llaguno / Eli Amatriain facing Marta Ortega / Marta Marrero. Having lost the first set sharply 6/1 and had several match points against them, the M & M´s go to the tie-break in the 3rd set and win it 11-9.

Men's first semifinal

Fernando Belasteguin / Pablo Lima against Juan Lebron / Paquito Navarro. That's why Bela is a legend. Extraordinary fieldwork, exemplary behavior and total dedication to his partner. Towards the end of the third set, Lima gets injured but stays on the ground. Touched he plays less balls but Bela takes the reins. Tie-break but the bar was too high. Hat.

Second ladies semifinal

She should have opposed Gemma Triay / Lucía Sainz to the surprise pair of the tournament, which has written a full page to the newspaper MARCA (it is important to report it because we see more football than anything else). This pair formed by Alba Galan and Victoria Iglesias had delighted the audience in his previous match by releasing Ari Sanchez and Ale Salazar. Unfortunately, Alba Galan suffers from a lumbar vertebral injury that prevents him from continuing this great adventure.

Second semifinal men

Franco Stupaczuk / Mati Diaz against Maxi Sanchez / Sanyo Guttierez. An example of a strategy. A match with few big strikes. The 4 artists played chess and it will be Sanyo who will be the strongest. A match where the angles were very often blocked, difficult to move opponents who defend very, very well. Mati Diaz, after a first target set holds the shock and raises his head without ever surrender. The win goes to Sanyo and Maxi on the score of 6 / 3 7 / 6 thanks to perhaps a little less mistakes.

See you on Sunday from 10h00 for the women's final followed by the men's final.
