Citing personal and professional reasons, Ale Galán tendered his resignation as president of the PPA, the Association of Professional Players of Padel. His resignation is irrevocable.

The PPA announced the resignation of Galán in a press release, specifying that the current vice-president, Pablo Lima, will take over the presidency in accordance with the statutes of the association. José Carlos Gaspar will now assume the role of interim vice-president, leaving vacant the position previously held by Lima.

The PPA also announced an upcoming Extraordinary General Assembly to elect a new President and Vice-President, and to welcome a new member to the Board of Directors as a voting member.

The Board of Directors of the PPA, in its press release, expressed its total respect for the decision of Alejandro Galán and wished to salute “his commitment, his work and his efforts which have contributed to establishing the Association as a key player on the international scene of Padel".
