Andrés Sánchez, the Kuikma engineer, discusses among other things 3 technologies that make two new Kuikma Pro used by Lucia Sainz and Maxi Sánchez particular rackets.

An anti-vibration system that will appeal to gamers

The Shock Block System is a technology that is located at the level of the handle and which reduces vibrations. It's a system that has already proven itself since in reality it dates from 2002. We have reviewed, redesigned and readjusted it in relation to the racket.

More precisely, it is an elastomer (colloquially called "rubber" which is a material with a high capacity for elasticity and absorption).

We must understand that these vibrations that we feel at the level of the handle come from the screen during the impact of the ball. Our technology has targeted the whole neck and not a part of the neck to reduce these vibrations as effectively as possible.

This technology has been approved by a laboratory specializing in the padel which is called Testea Pádel in Valencia, which has been able to measure the effect of this technology and certify to us that the vibrations are reduced by 10% to 30% depending on the speed and type of blows.

A reference carbon

High Tech Carbon Fiber: This is the carbon on the surface of the racquet. This fiber used is one of the best on the market. This carbon is very stable and brings both lightness and power.

This technology combined with our other technologies makes this racket one of the most durable on the market. It's actually a job we've been doing since the beginning. And I think Kuikma no longer has to prove on this part.

For several months, we have been able to see Maxi Sánchez playing with this racket.

A crush on the Dual Foam

There are 2 different foam densities inside the racket. The heart of the racquet is of a low density and there is a higher density around the racquet. In this way, we managed to make the racquet much more manageable. The sweet-spot is widened and makes it possible to correct any off-center balls. It is undoubtedly one of my favorites on this racquet and on the result.

The other advantage of our system is the racquet's ability to handle both slow and fast shots. The dense foam will bring us power that the less dense foam does not. I think we managed to find a compromise between the two advantages of these foams.
