From August 29 to August 02, a competition of padel international will take place in Belgium, in Verviers.

This is the first stage of AFPadel Major Round. It will take place in the Midi facilities Padel. This innovative competition is intended for the best Belgian and foreign players and has a very attractive prize money: €4700!

Functioning

Men – Main draw with 16 pairs, 8 pairs depending on the ranking + 8 qualifiers (24 pairs divided into pools of 3 – 1 qualifier per pool)

Women – Main draw with 8 pairs: 4 pairs according to ranking + 4 qualified (12 pairs divided into groups of 3 – 1 qualified per group)

All matches are played in two sets with super tie-break in case of third set, with the exception of finals, played in 3 sets. No “punto de oro”

Tuesday 29/08 and Wednesday 30/08: qualifications in the form of pools for men

Thursday 31/08: 1/8 final and 1/4 final for men

Friday 01/09: qualifications in the form of pools for women

Saturday 02/09: 1/2 finals and final for men – 1/4 finals, 1/2 finals and final for women
