The first day of European Championships padel junior 2022 was difficult for the French delegation which suffered two defeats, but nothing is over!

Faced with the Spanish armada, the young French suffered as one might expect since they lost 3/0. Little satisfaction all the same for the U16s who will have managed to take a set from the Iberians.

Among the girls, defeat also 3/0 against a big Swedish team. Nothing is decided yet, and as Christian Collange explains to us: “We expected to find a very good Swedish team, with this nation which accelerated the process padel. The goal is to finish second in the group now with the two matches today.”

The two French teams therefore still have their destiny in their hands, they will give everything today to try to finish in second place in their pools. Here is the program for the day:

Girls

  • 10:00 a.m. against the Netherlands
  • 16:00 p.m. against Lithuania

Boys

  • 10:30 a.m. v Austria
  • 16:30 p.m. against Sweden
