The countries of Europe are each deconfining, and it is the Netherlands' turn to authorize the practice of padel…under certain conditions.

Sandra Panis, fromEuropadel66, provides us with information concerning the resumption of padel Asked Netherlands. For now, in adults, only top Dutch players can resume. For this, they must keep a distance of 1,5 m in their training center.

The Dutch government is currently focusing on resumption of children. So, since the 29/04, young people have the opportunity to play padel, with health standards for all children under 18 and a distance of 1,5m for 13-18. Those under 12 have no restrictions. However, no free access to the courts: obligation to do sport with a teacher.

13-18 year olds cannot currently be more than 2 per padel. On the other hand, children under 12 have the possibility of being up to 6 per track. The teacher must wearing gloves and students are required to arrive on time for class and leave immediately. No parent can stay as a spectator.

The changing rooms and bars are closed, only the toilets are open. Posters explaining all the measures can be downloaded from the special “corona” page on the federation website (Knltb), in particular to allow clubs to easily inform the general public.

Measures which obviously do not allow not clubs to run at full speed, but which still allow certain practitioners to return to their favorite sport, and which allow a smooth reopening.
