The French U18 Championships in pairs will take place in the Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur Tennis League, precisely / Country Club Padel located at 1175, Chemin des Cruyes, 13090 Aix-en-Provence, from August 23 to 25.

Organization:

  • Arbitrary judge : Mr. Elliot MORIN MULLER
  • Assistant Referee: Mr Tom POMARES
  • Ball mark: Wilson Padel X3
  • Track supervisors will ensure the smooth running of the competition.
  • Two physiotherapists and a doctor will be available for the players.

  • 24 pairs boys
  • 14 girls pairs
  • Format: Multi-Chance Tournament

Planning:

  • Boys:
    • The 8 best pairs will be exempted from the 1ᵉʳ round and will start in the 8ᵉ final on Thursday morning.
    • The other pairs will start in the round of 16 on Wednesday afternoon from 14 p.m.
    • The final is scheduled for Friday afternoon.
  • Girls:
    • The round of 8 will begin on Wednesday afternoon.
    • Only the top 2 pairs will start on Thursday.
    • Thursday will also see the quarter and semi-finals, as well as classification matches.
    • The classification matches and the final will take place on Friday.

The draw will be held at the Club on Tuesday August 22 at 18 p.m. (the presence of players is not compulsory). The Referee will send by email the tables and the program for the next day on Tuesday evening.

Eligibility:

  • FFT licensed players in 2023 (licensed Padel or Multi-rackets with the mention “Competition authorized”).
  • Players born between 2005 and 2012 (age categories 11 to 18).

Coaching is authorized according to the procedures described in the Competition Guide, available online on the fft.fr website.

Good to know:

  • The matches of the central track will be broadcast live on YouTube.
  • During the competition, we will have the presence of Alexia Dechaume-Balleret and the captains of the France Jeunes teams: Géraldine Sorel, Yannick Maurel, Yann Auradou & Christian Collange.
