Today's announcement is a historic moment for Premier Padel – the official circuit of padel worldwide and the only one governed by the International Federation of Padel (FIP) and supported by theProfessional Association of Padel (PPP). The participation of female athletes, under the direction of theInternational Association of Women's Players padel (IPPA), reinforces Premier Padel in all its aspects as a high-level competition platform

Since the launch of Premier Padel a year ago we worked hard to get both men and women on this world circuit. With over 110 players already registered and many more expected, I am delighted with the progress we have made as we continue to carry the padel to new heights and to develop the sport around the world.”

Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, president of Premier Padel, said : “When we launched Premier Padel a little over a year ago, we made the commitment to involve players in our circuit. With this historic announcement, I am very proud to say that we have achieved our ambition in just over a year since the competition's inception. Now we look forward to seeing our sport continue to thrive and grow – this is just the beginning for Premier Padel".

The International Association of Women's Players padel, said: “After talking for months, the majority of IPPA players have voted to play in Premier Padel in 2023, thus supporting the circuit.
