In the 18th arrondissement of Paris, we also want padel ! The Complexe des Poissonniers could offer 6 padel indoor. For the moment, the project has not yet been definitively validated because it would become part of a much larger sports project for a total budget of more than 8 million euros.

The Association Championnet Sports is at the origin of this project. If the project should not exceed 2,5 million euros, the city of Paris has decided to pool the various sporting demands that there were on the sports area in the 18th arrondissement.

It would therefore be a question of replacing the tennis courts in poor condition with 3 squash courts, 6 tennis courts. padel and a small club house.

The project concerning the club of padel would be to offer 2 padel with the possibility of going out on the sides (the two middle courts). The ambition is displayed: To offer a large club of padel indoor intramural that can possibly accommodate events of padel national and international.

Project padel and squash, however, is mainly aimed at residents. The club is located in an area considered by the City of Paris to be “popular districts”.

We should have more information on the possible implementation of this project in 2020. Case to follow!
