A major development is looming on the horizon: the merger of Premier Padel with the World Padel Tour. From next year, these two emblematic circuits will no longer form a single entity, marking a historic turning point in the history of the Padel. However, this merger has an unexpected and somewhat melancholic consequence for aficionados of the Padel : the disappearance of the name “World Padel Tour".

A recent poll conducted on Instagram revealed that Present in several = 72% of participants are in favor of retaining the name “World Padel Tour“. This majority demonstrates a deep attachment and a certain nostalgia for this name which has accompanied so many tournaments, unforgettable matches and moments of joy.

However, all hope is not lost. As in the business world, where companies sometimes adapt their brand strategy in response to the reactions of their customers, the marketing channel Padel could consider a similar approach.

If the voice of the fans continues to be heard, and if their attachment to the name “World Padel Tour” remains as strong, organizers may be prompted to reconsider their decision.
