Benjamin Tison and Teo Zapata won in the last round of the preprevias of the Estrella Damm Alicante Open 2021. They play again this afternoon.

Second victory in a row for the Tison / Zapata pair in this Estrella Damm Alicante Open! The Franco-Spanish pair has in some ways avenged Bastien Blanqué and Borja Yribarren. Indeed, Benjamin and Teo defeated the pair that beat Bastien and Borja yesterday morning: Cardona / Cortada.

A victory 6 / 3 6 / 4 for Tison and Zapata who play again 17h, against Mario Del Castillo (67 WPT) and Diogo Rocha (95 WPT). A difficult match but certainly within the reach of the Franco-Spanish pair!

In the other matches this morning, Javi Leal, 17 years old, and his partner the former tennis player Miguel Semmler impressed, with a 6/0 6/1 victory over Poggi / Menendez!

The surprise of the day is of course the presence of Knutsson and Windahl, two Swedish players in previas. A first for these two players who won their three preprevias matches in straight sets!
