Last dance in Amsterdam with great finals on the program to close this week full of surprises that we experienced in the Dutch capital. From 16 p.m., you will be able to follow the women's final on the channels of the Canal Plus group, followed by the men's final.

We were surely expecting yet another Josemaria/Sanchez – Ortega/Triay for the final of this Amsterdam Open. But Bea Gonzalez and Delfi Brea had other ideas in mind. In a rally match, which lasted a little less than three hours, the number 3 seed won in three sets against the metronomes Gemma Triay and Marta Ortega.

For their part, the world number ones faced the surprise pair Osoro/Castello. As a reminder, in the event of a victory, Paula Josemaria and Ariana Sanchez would be assured of finishing the season in first place in the ranking.

In the men's category, Fede Chingotto and Paquito Navarro will meet the superpibes, Franco Stupaczuk and Martin Di Nenno. The Spanish-Argentinian pair won yesterday against Alex Ruiz and Juan Tello, in a heated match, fraught with a new controversy concerning the service. This in no way prevents the exceptional play of Chingotto and Navarro during this semi-final.

Franco Stupaczuk and Martin Di Nenno finished their match later in the evening, facing former world number ones Ale Galan and Juan Lebron. If the first set did not suggest a victory for the superpibes, the 6-0 inflicted on Galan and Lebron proves their good form at the moment. Despite a very balanced match, Stupa and Di Nenno knew how to manage the important points and won all of the gold points during the second set, i.e. 5/5. After the premature elimination of Coello/Tapia, the superpibes are definitely in the race for first place this season…

A great program awaits us on the central track in Amsterdam, with a lot at stake to boot!

Gwenaelle Souyri

It was his brother who one day told him to accompany him on a track. padel, since then, Gwenaëlle has never left the court. Except when it comes to going to watch the broadcast of Padel Magazine, World Padel Tour… or Premier Padel…or the French Championships. In short, she is a fan of this sport.
