A few days ago, we announced the possibility that the WPT Jaen Open, in our opinion, the most beautiful professional tournament of padel in the world, is no longer on the 2020 calendar. Well that's it, it's decided. Due to an overdue payment of more than € 300, the city of Jaen must first think "Politics and local economy before thinking of sport ”.

What a shame not to see such a beautiful place padel global. The elected officials say a simple goodbye, hoping to return soon, but after Andorra and now Jaén, doesn't the weight of a professional WPT event weigh too much on the shoulders of medium-sized municipalities?
