We expected a big shock between the pair number 9 in the WPT ranking, Capra / Sanchez, and the previous FIP Platinum Mexico winners, Alex Arroyo and Gonzalo Rubio.

And the least we can say is that we were not disappointed! Almost 2h30 of match, 13 decisive points, 39 break points (!), and a final victory in three sets for the outsiders who will never have given up despite a certain lack of efficiency on the puntos de oro (4 won against 9 for Maxi and Lucho).

Finally, Alex and Gonzalo, who very recently decided to play together on the WPT, offer themselves a first reference victory against one of the best pairs on the circuit.

Tomorrow, they will try to prolong the pleasure in the Balearic Islands. For that they will have to beat the winners of the meeting which currently opposes Coki Nieto and Martin Di Nenno to Pablo Lijo and Javi Ruiz. A meeting that you can follow now on WPT-TV !
