Impressive for their entry into the running in this WPT Menorca Open, Paquito Navarro and Miguel Yanguas gave in to the battering of Javi Rico and Javi Leal.

The outsiders bravely play their luck in this WPT Menorca Open. We have one new evidence tonight with the victory of “Los Javi” against Yanguas and Navarro. Admittedly, the latter are playing their first tournament together, but given the performance they had delivered on Tuesday, we expected them at least in the quarter-finals here in the Balearic Islands.

But it was without counting on the capital performance of Rico and Leal who offer themselves a victory in two sets which could not be more hung. Indeed, the two teams kept their commitment throughout the game, and it was two well-negotiated decisive games that allowed the underdogs to walk away with victory.
