The French Tennis Federation gives all children the opportunity to practice tennis, from the age of 3 / 4 years, with the Galaxie Tennis program based on a fun learning. Tennis allows children, from an early age, to develop sports and educational values, but also to improve their physical and mental health.

All children have the taste of the game. Galaxie Tennis relies on this desire so that they take pleasure in the practice of tennis in a universe adapted to their age and their level. The goal is for everyone to progress at their own pace and flourish through proper instruction.

Through five progressive learning levels (white, purple, red, orange and green court), girls and boys will acquire the necessary skills to eventually play on a traditional court. The equipment also adapts to make learning always easier: the smaller the terrain, the bigger the ball and the smaller the racquet.

The practice offered by this program is supervised by teachers specifically trained to teach tennis to young audiences. Children then develop in a positive environment thanks, in particular, to their teacher's benevolence, creativity and observation and adaptation abilities.

With Galaxie Tennis, children have fun, play and gradually discover another aspect of sport: competition. Thanks to the “Game & Match” days organized by the affiliated FFT clubs, the child puts into practice the different exercises carried out during the different sessions. These oppositions help young players to develop their concentration, self-confidence and respect for others.

“Galaxie Tennis is an activity that perfectly meets the needs of children to move, have fun and learn. The teacher enters the child's world and uses educational tools to brighten up the play space, which allows the first technical and tactical imprints to be tackled in a very playful way while developing children's motor skills. " explains Valérie Albaret, pedagogical manager of 7 years and under at the FFT.

Outside of these supervised hours, playing tennis with family or friends is a great way to keep improving. To facilitate and make this practice even more accessible, the FFT has launched its new free application intended for the general public: Ten'Up *. Novices or experienced, users will be able, among other things, to discover the services offered by FFT affiliated clubs, to book courts or to find playing partners.
