Fede Chiostri and Gonzalo Alfonso finished the season as a No.1 pair. After winning four titles -Paraguay Master, Lisboa Open, Sevilla Open and Cancun Open-, the two Argentines finished at the top of the standings a season punctuated by Gonzalo's physical problems.

Maxi Arce and Franco Dal Bianco share the individual number 2. Their results speak for themselves. They won the Kungsbacka Open I and the Swedish Grand Master, and were finalists in the Portugal Master, Monaco Master, Torreon Open and Cancun Open. It is the pair which ends the season very well, and which is also a favorite.

Julio Julianoti and Stefano Flores started the season as a benchmark pair. Stefano's injury complicated the situation, but Julianoti was able to team up with Cayetano Rocafort to win the Monaco Master. The Brazilian internationals who won bronze in Qatar are still a pair to beat.
