Agustin Tapia and Arturo Coello qualify for the final of the WPT Paraguay Padel Open 2023 after a small show of power at the SND Arena against Momo Gonzalez and Alex Ruiz, 6-4 6-2 in the semi-final.

It was believed in this first set that the Hispano-Spanish pair had become deconcentrated to the point of perhaps offering the first set to Gonzalez / Ruiz for their last tournament together.

After starting this first set in the best possible way with a break, Momo and Alex come back to 3 everywhere. The match is balanced and we have the right to a great show. But in the money time, Coello plays a very good game to allow the 2nd pair in the world to win the first set 6/4.

In the second set, we take the same and we start again with an express departure from Coello / Tapia who takes off to lead 3/0.

Final victory 6/4 6/2. Coello and Tapia are the first men's finalists of the WPT Paraguay Open.

This defeat for Momo and Alex also rhymes with the last association of a pair that will have been very good at times but often too fair against the very best in the world.
