What a match and what a final for Noah Canovas et Jimena velasco, crowned champions of this second tournament on the new circuit Ultimate Padel Tour. We were talking about a state of grace for the two players in this tournament, to say the least.

On their side, Pablo Cardona and Javi Ruiz confirmed in Leganés, easily winning in this final to achieve the double on the new UPT circuit.

Canovas and Velasco, as bosses

In the final against Lucia Martinez and Lorena Rufo (TS3), Noa Canovas and Jimena Velasco were simply unplayable. They leave the Madrid suburbs without having lost a single set. They impose themselves 6/2 7/6(5) facing the Rufo/Martinez pair.

Noa and Jimena completely outwit their opponents in this final, especially in the first set, offering very few opportunities to Lucia and Lorena. In total, 3 station wagons in favor of Canovas/Velasco, against just one for Rufo/Martinez, the score hurts on the scoreboard: 6/2. Besides, the annoyance on his face is barely masked.

The second round is more tight. It's even the 3 seed who makes the break first. Once again, Rufo/Martinez is caught, having nevertheless an opportunity to return to a round everywhere. In the decisive tie-break, it was once again Noa and Jimena who had the opportunity to take the lead. At the second opportunity, they assert themselves and put an end to this crazy week in the most beautiful way.

Cardona and Ruiz left only crumbs for their opponents in this final. It took them just over an hour to win this match. Final score: 6 / 1 6 / 3. We will still note the very good performance of Iñigo Jofre and Luis Hernandez in this tournament.

Pablo Cardona and Javi Ruiz are therefore at the top of the Ultimate rankings Padel Round. As a reminder, the highest ranked players at the end of the season will be entitled to a bonus…the same goes for players under 21 who will have their own bonus !
