Tennis fans necessarily know Alberto Berasategui. Former world number 7, the Basque clay court specialist, was known in particular for his unorthodox forehand grip.

Like many former tennis players, the native of Bilbao started padel once he retires. And contrary to what one might believe from the photo below, it has not really kept its taking “extreme” in the 20×10. And it works quite well for him!

Indeed, more than this particular technique in tennis, what really distinguishes this former champion from ordinary mortals is his eye and his precision. We can see it with this passing game who left Juan Martin Diaz speechless during a solidarity tournament supported by Monte Carlo Sports International in 2016.

Enough to collect the applause of Juan Carlos Ferrero for the one who shared the track that day with Gaby Reca!

For the record, during this tournament aimed at raising funds for the ANA foundation (Navarra Association of Autism), two other pairs between stars of the padel and tennis delighted the public: Lima / Corretja and Bela / Bruguera!
