Today we meet James Kingué, one of the co-founders with Julien Maigret of Activ'Performance, an association recently created for the professionalization and development of Padel in France.

What is the objective of the association?

We want to professionalize the practice of Padel and develop the ecosystem of this sport. Indeed, we want to give French top players access to a range of services such as performance support, prices negotiated with training clubs, their equipment, more regular medical monitoring, advice from nutritionists, logistical support for travel and accommodation ... We also want to play a role with infrastructure (clubs, land builders), young practitioners, but also the media and national or local companies, to facilitate visibility, notoriety and attractiveness of this sport.

Why did you set up a Team?

We are convinced that there is an important interest for players, to pool the search for sponsors or additional services, to belong to a group to exchange, support and give feedback, to have a staff identified in the service of their performance. All this will make them more operational and focused on their game, and give them all the means to build.

Likewise, the sponsors who will accompany us have everything to gain from being represented by a group of players on the same competition or separately on several simultaneous events. By our presence on all tournaments of Padel, we multiply the visibility effect for our sponsors and the strength of their message by the number of players wearing its colors.

So a Team to collectively carry both the values of the Association and its sponsors.
