The European Championships padel 2017 in Portugal is over. The results of the France team are very positive and especially encouraging in view of the 2019 world championship.

In girls, we get a very beautiful 3e place in Estoril. They managed to take advantage of a favorable table to do the job and get this well-deserved bronze medal with a captain in heaven. "It's superb and we would have signed early in the competition for this place"Explains Patrick Fouquet.

Among the men, it is also a good 4th place. Even if indeed, we feel a little frustration in the team, because reaching the semi-finals was achievable. The French men's team, however, has a good run and shows that we will have to rely on it in the future.

The next international competition will be the World Championships of padel. We don't yet know where it will take place (maybe South America, we say behind the scenes ...), but what is certain is that the French ladies and gentlemen team will certainly be even stronger next year with players knocking more and more loudly on the door of the France team. And we can therefore logically hope that the results obtained at Estoril are only the beginnings of a very good story.
