Episode 3: Learn to Play Padel intelligently, it takes time! Patience!

It's been a month since I arrived in my new life, and I'm still not sure if I realized what's happening to me. It's incredible !
It must be said that a lot of things have happened in recent weeks, I did not have much time to ask me. The various administrative procedures related to my arrival took me a lot of energy (everything is more complicated in a foreign country) and I am delighted that they are completed today, until further notice! 🙃
I am proud to announce that I am writing live from the sofa of my brand new apartment, located at 5 minutes from my club. After surviving a little while without internet (it's hard archie honestly, heading to try?) I'm now reconnected with the rest of the world and I can finally take a little time for a third debrief!
These last two weeks have also been very busy because I started competing! Thus, in addition to the sustained pace of training, on the program, two tournaments on the Madrid circuit (matches on Spanish schedules: between 20 p.m. and midnight 😴). The level in this circuit is a little lower than that of the World Padel Tour but it is still very strong. Perfect so that I can start to put in place the things I learned in training and that I also progress in my management of the competition before the start of the World Padel Tour.
First two tournaments very encouraging. The first one played with Cristina, a player of only 16, who plays very well, we lost in the quarter-finals against the two best players on the Madrid circuit. Very interesting, constructive and fairly hooked matches in which I did not get frustrated and I tried to fight with my weapons against two very seasoned players. I had the chance to play the second tournament with an awesome player sponsored by BULLPADEL also, Paz Alonso. We had a lot of fun on the pitch and fought before losing in the semi-final after a very tough match in three sets. A few hours after the defeat, a little less well, we necessarily think a little more about our loved ones in these moments, but the next day, when I woke up, my motivation was even greater. This is how I see that I love competition in all that it represents, well aware that defeat is one of the possible outcomes.
For my next tournament of the Madrilenian circuit planned next week, I would have the immense honor of sharing the field with my teammate Tenorio tasting, 13th world player, who really became a friend today with whom I share my daily workout. How lucky ... I can not wait!
This tournament will be followed by my first return to France on the weekend of 4 / 5 march on the occasion of the tournament P1000 which will take place at Padel Central Lyon ! I can't wait to be able to meet my long-time teammate Audrey and all the French players there (and also to speak French without thinking, it will give me a little rest)! Come see some pretty Padel feminine !
Meanwhile, this weekend I'm going to Pamplona, in the north of Spain, for the official presentation of theMonte Carlo Arena Entrena team Padel which I have the chance to be part of the year 2017 and who will defend his place in the Spanish team championship. Almost all the best players in the world are part of this team, so I risk being supportrice and water carrier more than anything else for this first year but what a pleasure to be part of it, a unique experience to go you for me.
With my trainer Gaby, it always happens very well, I learn a lot of things in every training. I think soon to be able to publish a novel with my notes on the various councils, a good editor to recommend me? 😉
Now what I have to do is be patient, constant, and swinging every day of training that passes, without discouraging me. Because I will have to play hours and hours to be able to really and logically understand how this sport works and how I have to practice it. I have to learn how to play with my weapons to be effective on a field and play smartly. Cause I came here to learn how to play Padel in all intelligence, and I believe that with Gaby I am at a very good school for that. Even if I'm sure he wonders a few days if I didn't have my engineering degree in a surprise bag 😎 and laughs at me a little (I deserve it!) He really supports me in my learning on a daily basis and it is very appreciable.
The visit of my parents last weekend made me crazy and my battery is currently charged 100% for all the new adventures that await me!
Below is a small preview of the program of my next 6 weekend!
